Why Art and Music Education is Important

Public schools have difficulty funding school programs such as art classes and music education classes for ten years. When the kids go to college and the workplace, do not have at least some types of music education or arts education gives children a severe disadvantage. In art and music classes, children learn to be creative and use other parts of their brains than the logical part of the brain that are used in most school subjects. In addition, studies have shown that music and art help children in other subjects such as science and mathematics. Research has shown, too, that art and music classes can help children gain confidence necessary to succeed in school and in the professional world. Finally, in art class, students learn how to use tools such as drafting chairs and tables that are used professionals, such as architects and graphic designers. Therefore, it is important that the public schools to ensure they get the funds they need to keep this program alive.
Music and art classes to teach children about creativity. When the children to be creative they use different parts of their brains that they are not used in regular classes, like math and science. It is important to develop this creative part of the brain, so that children have a better chance of being successful in their chosen careers. For example, a child who wants to go into advertising as a career option should have the creativity to come up with new and innovative advertising for a company. If children have the education in science, mathematics, English, and social sciences, so they will not be ready for life after school.
There are many studies that have shown that art and music education helps children do better in regular classes. This is the fact that good music education leads to better math grades. Arts education helps teach children to be creative, which then helps them to learn to come up with creative solutions to the problems given to them in other classes. For example, in science class to be creative will help students come up with innovative and new hypotheses in the class, which can produce a better value. Art and music classes are important in helping to teach the children a tool that can be applied to other classes.
Tools used in art classes and instruments used in music classes teaching kids how to be responsible for expensive equipment that they are likely to work with companies in the future. For example, a child will have responsibility for musical instruments to help teach children responsibility and help teach them to respect the equipment that was not theirs. This is important because employers will expect the future of an employee to be responsible and take care of all the material that will in loans to employees, such as computers, for example.
Public school boards need to ensure that programs of music and the arts in their schools well funded. Art and music education helps teach children creativity needed for various jobs. Art and music classes also help teach the children the tools that can be used in other classes that will help improve their grades. Finally, by using instruments and equipment in these classes to help teach children responsibility and respect for the things that was not theirs. Children who do not have the kind of music or arts education would be at a disadvantage when entering college or the workforce.
