Pop music news is usually comprised of happy, optimistic melodies and rhythms with simple lyrics that relate to love, relationships, sex and dancing. Music NewsThis is not a genre that is intended to bring the world within and serious issues to the fore, nor is it intended to invoke introspection and reflection. It was there just to bop around to, and join in the festive chorus at the top of the lungs. Who feel good music, which is designed for fun and light entertainment.

Unlike other music genres such as rock and hip-hop, where the songs are often written by the artists themselves, pop songs are usually written by professional songwriters. In order to generate as much exposure as possible, the artists make music videos and stage performances luxury to attract the media. Music video is very important because they can enjoy the international commercial success and thus achieve a very broad audience. This has made pop, arguably the world's largest music genres.

"Best music" has been around since the 50's, with people like Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley falls into the category. Pop music, because most of us know it, really comes into his own in the 80s with the emergence of artists like Michael Jackson and Madonna.

Madonna of the 80s artists who emerged again achieved iconic status. Is widely regarded as the "Queen of Pop", Madonna has experimented by blending pop with a number of other musical genres and has sold more than 230 million albums globally. Her album, Like a Virgin achieved Diamond status; one better than Platinum and the single Vogue is one of the biggest selling single in history. Has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.

90s pop is not good for decades. This saw the emergence of boy bands and girl groups resulted in the Backstreet Boys, N'Sync and interesting British phenomenon, the Spice Girls. The group that gathered more for their appearance and appeal to young audiences than actual singing talent. Toward the end of the 90's we see an increase in chewing gum and potential pop diva, Britney Spears and competition, Christina Aguilera. Christina experimented and evolved; Britney stagnated in the sex kitten look and damaged. Australian Kylie Minogue, a former 80s icon, experienced a resurgence that took him until the next century. Latin pop rushed to the scene with Ricky Martin swung his hips and Shakira shaking everything else.

2000s has seen many artists take time off from their bands to record solo albums such as Gwen Stefani, while others simply left the band to pursue solo careers like Justin Timberlake and Robbie Williams. We have seen the emergence of teen pop, which has been given impetus by the Disney Channel, as well as Pop Punk like Fall Out Boy and pop rock like Pink. The popular reality show American Idol has changed the way in which many people achieve fame and commercial success in the music industry. Some artists have proven that it is possible to successfully combine pop music and R & B, artists like Nelly Furtado and Rihanna.

Some modern icons include:

Music NewsJustin Timberlake, who rose to star in the tail of one of the more successful boy band, N'Sync. He chose to leave the band and pursue an independent solo career and in 2002 released his debut album titled, is justified. After a break of about four years, where he recorded with other artists, started a movie career, starting a fashion label, William Rast, and established his own label, Tennman Records, he returned to the studio and released their second album, FutureSex / LoveSounds. He has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide.

Nelly Furtado first came to our attention in 2000 when he released his debut album, Whoa, Nelly. "I'm like a bird", her breakthrough single from the album, won Grammy awards and was established as an artist to watch. In 2003, after taking some time to have a first child, she released a second album, Folklore, which did not fare as well commercially as Whoa, Nelly did not. However, his latest album, Loose, which was released in 2006, has been put firmly back into the hit parade. It has a few hit singles, in particular, "promiscuous", "Maneater", "Say It Right" and "Do It". Nelly is not afraid to experiment with sounds and often incorporate a variety of musical instruments, sounds, languages and vocal styles into the music. He claimed to have been linked to his new young voice on the Loose in the presence of two old daughter years.

Kylie Minogue has one of the longest standing and most successful career in pop music history. He looked out of the 80's, 90's and has enjoyed great success in the 2000s. He was especially famous in Europe and Australia, although the increased popularity in the U.S.. He is one of the world's most easily recognized and accepted her new celebrity with thousands of fans brave manner in which she battled breast cancer and dealt with resulting hair loss. This November Kylie will release a much anticipated 10th album, the first in four years. For most of his career Kylie has been regarded as a gay icon, which she encourages with good funny comments like this, "I am not a traditional gay icon.
